Lit Pick by Ryley
WHY I LIKED THIS BOOK: It is very interesting but it also makes you feel an array of emotions. The book is told from the perspective of Death, who is exhausted by all the work needing to be done during the war, which makes the book very interesting. There is also a large amount of foreshadowing that keeps the reader intrigued. THIS BOOK IS FOR: People who like stories from WWII (although there isn't a lot of war details it does take place in Nazi Germany), or people who enjoy reading stories that keep you on your toes and toy with your emotions. BE AWARE: There is a decent amount of course language and it does take place in the middle of WWII so there is some violence to be aware of. Have you read this book? What did you think? WHY I LIKED IT: It is definitely a tearjerker. I like a book that makes me feel what the character is feeling and this one does that extremely well! The characters are interesting, there's some romance and lots of tears; I found myself extremely captivated, wanting to know how it would end. WHO THIS BOOK IS FOR: This book is for anyone who likes drama, romance, and stories that make you FEEL a lot. BE AWARE: Some coarse language, and one weirdly scandalous cello make-out scene.
